Preston Harrison

Preston Harrison brings more than 12 years of senior management and oversight experience in visa and migration practices to his role as Operations Manager at Migration Unity. Reporting directly to the practice’s directors, he oversees case throughput, file quality, and team performance.

Registered with the Office of the MARA since March 2011 (MARN 1170236), Preston has held senior management or oversight responsibility for the better part of his career, across roles spanning corporate immigration, complex case management, and the day to day running of migration practices. That experience covers everything from client strategy through to team training, file quality, and the operational discipline needed to keep a practice running well.

Preston’s individual case management direction comes from looking beneath surface-level guidance to what actually determines eligibility. Published departmental material describes a process, but the provisions that govern an outcome; the Migration Act, the Regulations, the relevant Legislative Instruments or a Ministerial Direction, can tell conflicting stories. Understanding all angles, what to prioritise, and which direction to lean, takes years of having worked through it firsthand. It’s the same standard Preston brings to the team, ensuring applications are complete and can undergo scrutiny if tested.

Preston joined Migration Unity in October 2023 as a Registered Migration Consultant and moved to the Operations Manager role in October 2025.
