Health Roles in High Demand Across Australia

Hospitals, aged care providers, clinics and community services are all competing for the same nurses, doctors and allied health professionals who are already in Australia. Almost every health occupation is in high demand, and the local pool only goes so far.

Employers who are approved sponsors can look past that pool. They can recruit skilled people from overseas, and they can hire people already here on a working holiday, graduate or other temporary visa who want a long-term role and a pathway to permanent residency.

Employers that offer sponsorship often attract the skilled workers who are reliable and want to build a career with them. That is why we run recruitment and visa support as one service, so the hire and the visa are planned together.

Nurses in an Australian hospital

Where you could work

Hospitals, aged care homes, disability services, medical and dental practices, and community health services, in cities and regional areas.

Registration and checks

Many health roles need registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) or an assessment by a professional body. We tell you what applies to your occupation so you can plan the steps.

Visa and sponsorship, if needed

If you are overseas, or in Australia without full work rights, our registered migration agents explain what is involved. If you already have work rights, we simply look for the role.

Nurses, doctors and allied health, ready for your next role

Register your details and CV. If a health role fits, a recruitment consultant contacts you. Already in Australia with work rights? Even better, there is no visa step.

How it works

One business from first shortlist to first day

Recruitment is handled by one team. If sponsorship or a visa is needed, the same team looks after that too, so nothing gets lost between providers.

1

Search and shortlist

We match skilled candidates to your vacancy and send you a shortlist.

2

Interview and offer

You interview, choose and make the offer. We help with the paperwork.

3

Sponsorship, if needed

If sponsorship is needed, our registered migration agents prepare and lodge it.

4

Visa, if needed

If the candidate needs a visa, the same team prepares and lodges it.

5

Start date

We stay in touch until the candidate starts, so the first day goes smoothly.

Not every placement needs every step. If a candidate is already in Australia or already has work rights, such as permanent residency, we skip sponsorship and the visa.

Questions

Common questions

Which health roles do you recruit for?

Nursing and midwifery, doctors and specialists, allied health, dental, and other occupations on the skilled occupation list. If your role is not listed on this page, register anyway and tell us what you do.

Do I need Ahpra registration before I register with you?

No. You can register first. Many health roles need registration or an assessment before you can work in Australia, and we tell you what applies to your occupation so you can plan the steps.

I am an overseas-trained health professional. Can I register?

Yes. The pathway depends on your occupation and where you trained. Our team explains what is involved, and our registered migration agents explain the visa side if you need it.

I am already working in Australia. Can I register?

Yes. Citizens, permanent residents and people with work rights can register. If you already have work rights, a role does not need sponsorship or a visa.

Will the employer sponsor me?

Not every employer or role does. It depends on the employer, the role and your circumstances. If you want to understand your options, book a consultation with a migration agent.

I am an employer. Can you help with regional or rural vacancies?

Tell us the location when you submit the vacancy. We search for candidates in Australia and overseas, and we tell you what is realistic for the role and the location.

Can you guarantee a placement or a visa?

No one can. We cannot promise a placement, and visa outcomes are decided by the Department of Home Affairs. What we do is keep you informed, and explain the requirements early.

Not sure where to begin?

Speak to our team and we will point you to the right next step.
