Speak to a migration agent →Teaching Roles in High Demand Across Australia
Schools, early learning centres and education providers are all chasing the same teachers who are already in Australia. Teaching occupations are in high demand, particularly in regional and outer metropolitan areas, and the local pool only goes so far.
Employers who are approved sponsors can look past that pool. They can recruit qualified teachers from overseas, and they can hire people already here on a working holiday, graduate or other temporary visa who want a long-term position and a pathway to permanent residency.
Employers that offer sponsorship often attract the skilled people who are reliable and want to stay. That is why we run recruitment and visa support as one service, so the hire and the visa are planned together.

Being on this list does not mean you qualify for a visa. Eligibility depends on your circumstances, and the list changes from time to time, so check homeaffairs.gov.au for the current version. To talk it through, book a consultation with a registered migration agent.

Common questions
Which teaching roles do you recruit for?
Early childhood, primary, middle and secondary teachers, special education, vocational and university educators, and school leaders on the skilled occupation list. If your role is not listed here, register anyway and tell us what you teach.
Do I need to be registered before I register with you?
No. You can register first. Teachers register with the regulator in the state or territory where they work, and we tell you what applies to your role so you can plan the steps.
I trained overseas. Can I register?
Yes. The pathway depends on your qualification and where you trained. Our team explains what is involved, and our registered migration agents explain the visa side if you need it.
I am already teaching in Australia. Can I register?
Yes. Citizens, permanent residents and people with work rights can register. If you already have work rights, a role does not need sponsorship or a visa.
Will the school sponsor me?
Not every school or role does. It depends on the employer, the role and your circumstances. If you want to understand your options, book a consultation with a migration agent.
I run a school or centre. Can you help with regional or remote vacancies?
Tell us the location when you submit the vacancy. We search for candidates in Australia and overseas, and we tell you what is realistic for the role and the location.
Can you guarantee a placement or a visa?
No one can. We cannot promise a placement, and visa outcomes are decided by the Department of Home Affairs. What we do is keep you informed, and explain the requirements early.
Not sure where to begin?
Speak to our team and we will point you to the right next step.
